1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using FluxStack ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
2. Description of Service
FluxStack is a visual database schema designer that provides:
- Visual schema design and editing tools
- AI-powered schema generation and assistance
- Database connection and synchronization capabilities
- Schema versioning and migration management
- Team collaboration and project management features
- Code generation (SQL, Prisma, TypeScript)
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:
- Use a strong, unique password
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Not share your account credentials with others
- Be responsible for all actions taken under your account
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe upon the rights of others
- Transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Collect or harvest information about other users
5. User Content and Data
5.1 Ownership
You retain ownership of all content, data, and intellectual property you create, upload, or store using the Service ("User Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, store, and process your User Content solely to provide and improve the Service.
5.2 Responsibility
You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to your User Content and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.
5.3 Database Credentials
You are responsible for the security of database credentials you choose to store in the Service. While we encrypt stored credentials, you should use strong passwords and follow security best practices. We are not liable for unauthorized access to your databases resulting from compromised credentials.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by FluxStack and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used without our prior written consent.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service or included software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of that software.
7. Subscription and Payment
7.1 Subscription Plans
The Service may offer free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) unless cancelled.
7.2 Payment Terms
FluxStack uses Paddle as our Merchant of Record and authorized reseller. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to:
- Pay all fees associated with your subscription via Paddle
- Provide accurate payment information
- Authorize Paddle to charge your payment method
7.3 Consumer Right to Cancel and Refunds
If you are a Consumer (using the service for personal use), you have the right to cancel this Agreement and request a refund within 7 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 7 days from the day of the transaction.
Important Exception: Your right to cancel does not apply to the supply of Digital Content once the download or transmission has begun with your consent. By using the Service to generate or export schemas, you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once performance has begun.

8. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.
9. Termination
9.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through the Service settings or by contacting us.
9.2 Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
- Fail to pay applicable fees
- Use the Service in a manner that poses a security risk
9.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. We may delete your account and associated data, subject to our data retention policies. You may export your data before termination.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
- That the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- That defects will be corrected
- That the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components
We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information on the Service.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL FLUXSTACK, ITS AFFILIATES, OR THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Statements or conduct of third parties on the Service
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FluxStack and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the appropriate courts.
The United Nations Convention on the International Sale of Goods is specifically excluded from application to these Terms.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
